It’s official, we’re pregnant!

Just over nine months ago, we packed our Budget truck and moved to New York City.  We’ve accomplished a lot in the ensuing months - seen a lot of sights, hosted a lot of visitors - it’s been one heck of an adventure.

When I think back, it’s hard to believe it’s only been nine months.  Then again, it seems like it’s been forever.  I guess a lot can change in nine months.

Never is that statement more true than in the nine months (give or take a few weeks) of a first pregnancy.  It’s an experience we are very excitedly taking in every single day.

That’s right, Tracy’s pregnant.  She’s almost 11 weeks along and the due date is November 29th, which happens to be the birthday of your humble author.

We were able to tell a lot of our friends in person, either at the tail end of Heath’s wedding or during our time in North Carolina.  The most memorable moments occurred when we told our families.  Thankfully, the Flip was rolling to take in the reactions, which were, of course, priceless.

There will be much to come about Baby Mansfield, but for now I’ll leave you with scenes from telling our families - certainly scenes to remember forever.
