Lake Time

We’re venturing south to North Carolina this weekend (in fact, Tracy flew out Wednesday morning) to spend some quality time with both of our families.  We were in town about a month ago, but spent most the trip doing stuff related to a wedding.  We found time to share the news that Tracy’s pregnant, but soon thereafter had to fly back to the big city.

So this trip is pure, old fashioned family time, and we couldn’t be more excited for it.  The highlight will definitely be tomorrow, when the Mansfields, Millers, Huitsings, and soon-to-be Archers (my sister Kelly and her fiance Andrew) head down to my parents’ lake house for the day.  We’ll be trading in taxis and crowds for the tranquil stillness of a lake in early morning.
