7 Favorite Videos of the Last 12 months

we purchased our MacBook a year ago, I told Tracy one of my goals was to figure out how to do some video editing.  A few months later we bought a Flip Mino camera and I began filming.  A lot.  In fact, I’ve been accused of “always having the camera out.”  But I’m not ashamed, because in the process of filming, I’ve caught some very memorable scenes.  Here are my 7 favorite videos we’ve put together since moving.  I couldn’t keep it to just 5!

The First

Taken during the move up on our old digital camera.  It’s safe to say we were delirious by this point.

Christmas Tree in NYC

We’ll never forget our first Christmas in New York.  Or these two characters who sold us our tree.  I use the line “we’ll be back!” all the time.

Lightning McQueen Christmas

My favorite parts - 1) I really couldn’t stop laughing as I filmed this and I love how you can see my shadow as a quasi “iPod person looking thing” as I’m dying when Jacob can’t figure out how to stop. 2) Jacob wanting to relive the surprise and Jason carrying the car back to its original location.  Gets me every time.

Formal New Year’s Party in Durham

Containing at least one correct prediction (Sam Metzler’s pick of a UNC bball championship).  But there’s no doubt that Eller steals the show in this video.

Overlook Cup

Keeping the camera rolling is a perfect way to capture the essence of an Overlook Cup, which is one of my favorite weekends every year.  Contains an absolute gem of a scene when both Ben and Neill whiff on the golf course.

NASCAR Genius

Let’s face it, any video that includes a super cute kid is pretty awesome.  When said kid is able to showcase his NASCAR skills, it’s even more awesome.  Juan Pablo Montoya!

Telling our Families

By far the most special video.  We caught some amazing reactions as we told our families about the soon to be Baby Mansfield.

So, what’s the favorite video from the blogaudience perspective?  Favorite scenes?  Love to hear what you like in the comments.
