We’re back

We’re still getting settled after our week+ vacation in North Carolina.  Our time away was fantastic, filled with much sun, laughter, food, and old fashioned relaxation.  We have tons of good pics and videos which we’ll share later in the week after we’ve had a chance to do a full upload.

For those of you looking for a little afternoon entertainment, I encourage you to tune into the USA-Mexico World Cup Qualifier which will air at 4pm.  The game is being played in Mexico at Azteca Stadium, a 105,000 seat soccer mecca where the USA has NEVER won.

The game should be top notch - the teams don’t really care for each other and there is more than just jingoistic pride at stake.  The US currently sits 2nd in the qualifying group and a win at Azteca would all but assure safe passage to the World Cup in South Africa next summer.  Mexico struggled in some of the first qualifying games and currently sits 4th - they’ll want a victory in order to move up the table and secure a spot in the World Cup.

You can watch the game in Spanish on Telemundo or in English on mun2, a Latino youth cable network which will be added to many cable packages today for one day in order to show the game.  Check here for more info related to TV availability in your area.

If you’re stuck at work, you can follow the game live via MatchTracker or get updates from Twitter.

GO USA!!!!
