Football is Back

I’m not the only one in America who is beyond pumped about the fact that big time football is back.  And though the NFL opener last night was a snoozefest (albeit one which ended in OT), the college boys (GaTech vs. Clemson) put on a nice show.

For those of you who’ve been watching some of the games thus far, you’ve likely seen this Under Armour commercial, which I believe is masterful.  From the music (Explosions in the Sky) to the wide variety of scenes shown (little man pumping up his team on the bus…preseason…storming the field) - the video is like instant andrenaline.

We’re making the trip to Hartford this evening in preparation for the UNC game against UConn.  We’ll meet my parents in Hartford tonight and go to the game tomorrow (12 noon, ESPNU).  Hopefully the result will be the same as last year’s amazing performance at Rutgers.
