Two Birthdays

November 29th has come and gone, so that means that I’m now officially 28 years old and our Little Baby Mans is not to share a birthday with his/her daddy. Since the day we found out about the due date, it’s been fun to think about the possibility of sharing a birthday (though Tracy was decidedly a fan of each member of the family having their own special day).

Alas, we don’t have to worry about sharing the birthday spotlight - as we celebrated with my parents by eating a great brunch, watching some football, and enjoying the beautiful NYC weather, there was no real news to report with the baby.

So now we’re past the due date and every hour seems to drag by.  We just want to meet this kid!  In order to pass the time, let’s play a little prediction game (since the Boy/Girl prediction was so much much fun).  It’s now time to guess the details - DATE OF BIRTH, WEIGHT, and LENGTH.  Leave your answer in the comments and we’ll see who ends up getting bragging rights.  And perhaps we’ll throw in some sort of prize for good measure, but I’ll have to think through what that might be.

I’ll get us started with my predictions:

DATE OF BIRTH: 12/2/2009

WEIGHT: 9lbs, 1 oz

LENGTH: 21.5 inches

(yep, that’s right, I’m predicting a BIG BABY.  I’ve got no inside info, just a gut feeling…sorry T!)
