Still Waiting…

We’re now 3 days past the due date and no signs of Baby Mans.  So we’re still waiting…and waiting…and waiting.

While we’re waiting, we took the chance to go over to the Upper West Side last night to see our friends Bryant and Sarah Lee and their beautiful 2 week old daughter, Bennet Ann Lee.  Sarah was supposed to be due a week after Tracy but ended up having her little girl 3 weeks early!  It was pretty awe-inspiring to hold their precious little girl in my arms and think, “this will be us…SOON!”

Bryant is finishing his 3rd year of law school at Columbia and they suggested we walk through campus on our way to the subway.  The University has some delightful Christmas lights on the trees and which make the campus feel very festive and put us in the holiday mood.  We don’t get many Christmas lights here in NYC, so it was a sight for sore eyes.  Combined with the big time Tar Heel basketball win last night, it made for a wonderful evening.

Now if Baby Mans would just come out and meet us, he/she could really join in on all the fun!
