Miller Mansfield is here

What a day.  In fact, it’s been such a day that I’ll have to delay more detailed thoughts for a bit.  Instead, I’ll focus on the basics.  And, of course, the thing that everyone is interested in - the pictures.

This is John Miller Mansfield, our new son.  His first name is John like his dad and his grandfather (Big Papa Mansfield), but our son will be known by his middle name, Miller, which is also his mother’s maiden name.

He’s a big boy (9lbs, 6oz), and he’s already loved a ton.

And he may not be Tar Heel born

But something tells me he might be Tar Heel bred

It’s been a big day for Miller with some of his family, and he can’t wait to meet the rest, and many friends too!
