I am going to say this now, but it is going to take 10 years for others to realize it. There is no way Roy is getting another national title and there is no way he is going to get it with his own players. Last night was one of the key examples why. No timeout when you are down 10 or 12, but you call one when you are down 28? I was in the middle of the Kansas section and they were laughing at Roy that he would not call a timeout, yet Self burns 3 during the UNC run. Glad Roy burned that one with 30 seconds left though. And with the game at 58-53 with about 9 minutes left he puts in a stupid lineup of MGDG, Alex, Deon, Q, and Graves. That team plays 1 minute and the game was over, a terrible move. Roy may be the best recruiter in the country, but in terms of a game coach he does not have what it takes to win one with his own players. You get 5 timeouts for a reason, use them.
