Funny Face

Over the years I’ve identified a standard go-to face for any sort of “funny face” picture.  Some people go with bugged eyes, stick out their tongue, or pull their mouth apart in an effort achieve full zany.  I take a more subtle approach - the closed mouth smile.

There’s a certain indescribable silliness in a closed mouth smile.  It’s suitable for any occasion in which being serious is unacceptable.  And I’m happy to say that less than 7 weeks into life on Earth, my son has already mastered the art.
