Buying the Hype

I’m typing these words from our brand spankin’ new MacBook.

Yes, we’ve offiicially bought the hype.

And while it may seem like we’ve been spending voraciously over the last few weeks (you’re not the only one feeling it!) - both the TV and the MacBook have been very long buying decisions.

Ultimately, I feel like we will use the MacBook for photos, music, videos and keeping in touch.  Are there other computers which would have worked? Yes.  But I keep hearing from every Mac owner that they’re unbelievably satisfied with the purchase.  One close friend (and loyal reader of this blog) even put his MacBook purchase in his top 5 decisions of all time.

I hope it works out as well for us.  I’m also hoping to learn how to use some of the media applications to spice up the blog a bit. B.O.L.O. (that was for you Furnas)

By the way, looks like we weren’t the only one catching the fever.  Yep, that’s former UNC coach Bill Guthridge buying his own Mac.
