Brush with Fame

LIVE UPDATE: Just had my first NYC celebrity sighting.

I was about to cross the street to walk into the office when I noticed a small, African-American man in an obvious hurry.  As he rounded the corner in a light jog, I noticed his dark, circular glasses and patchy goatee.  The LeBron James Olympic basketball jersey he was sporting was the dead giveaway, though - this was Mars Blackmon (or Spike Lee to the layperson).

Spike had dropped an Oakley sunglass case as he rounded the corner, so I picked it up and walked over to hand it to him - during the exchange I confirmed his identity and got a quick “Thank You” from the famous director.  Sorry, things moved too quickly for me to get a photo - you’ll have to trust me on this one.
