The Whitehills are coming!

We’ve finished up week #2 in NYC, and I must say the time is beginning to fly.  Tracy and I were remarking after work today of the interesting paradox of time.  The week has flown by - but at the same time, it feels like forever since we were unloading our truck.  Yet that was only 2 weeks ago.  Weird.

Anyways, we are pumped beyond belief to be hosting our first overnight guests this weekend - our great friends Rob and Catherine Whitehill.  The weekend got off to a bit of a shaky start this morning when their flight from RDU was cancelled.  Alas, these are veteran travelers we’re talking about - they booked a different flight to Philly which was delayed but got in with enough time to spare to catch a train to the city.  They just boarded the train and should be here by 9.

The cancelled flight caused a change of plans, as we were scheduled to go to Tao tonight for what we hoped would be an amazing dinner.  We’ve rescheduled for tomorrow night and will likely be trying to scalp Yankees tickets for the 1pm game against the Royals.  Should be plenty of fun as we explore the city with them.  Could some liveblogging be in store?  I think so.
