Liveblog: Cat in Studio!

The Whitehills, via planes, trains and automobiles, were able to get to our apartment last night.  It was so great to have such close friends in our new NY home.  We hit up a late night dinner at Jackson Hole for some gigantic burgers - can you believe Rob was able to finish that burger?

This morning Cat and Rob woke up early and made their way to Rockefeller Center to NBC’s studios where they are doing a lot of the back end production work for the Olympics, as well as live announcing for some of the team sports.  It just so happens that they were doing a live broadcast of the men’s Argentina/Holland game, so Cat was asked to do a halftime interview to talk about the US Women’s team.

To recap - wake up at 7:30am, head to 30 Rock, get on live television.  I guess that’s how you roll when you’re an Olympic gold medalist.

Cat answered her quesions beautifully (per usual).  Not a bad morning of “work”.

This afternoon we’re going to catch the Yankees - Royals game.

Maybe Steinbrenner will want to interview me during the 7th inning stretch.
