August Recap
It’s officially been over a month since we departed 4 Dardanelle in our Budget truck for life in the Big City. We’ve invited you all to join us in this topsy turvy journey through the blog, and it’s been our pleasure to share the experience (both good and bad) with you.
While I certainly appreciate the power of words, I’m also a stat geek at heart so I thought I’d share a few August metrics with the blogaudience (courtesy of Google Analytics).
Total Posts: 43
Total Visits: 1,961
Total Pageviews: 3,294

Most visits in one day: 242 (8/7/2008)

Most Unique Search Term that led people to the site: “Bon Qui Qui at Kingburger”
To put the pageviews in perspective, the blog had 698 visits and 1,422 pageviews during the month of July. The blog averaged about 100 viewers a day during the week of the move, and we’re now at ~ 40-50 daily.

As the blog rounds into month two of full public consumption, I hope to not just touch on the ins and outs of life in New York - I think many of you will eventually find that quite boring. While I’ll still share good stories like Frank the Painter, and even the bad ones like when I screw up around the house, I hope to make this a little bit broader - and I hope you’ll join in through your comments and feedback. I’ve always loved to write, and feel that this blog is a perfect way to let the creative juices fly with a community of friends and family.
Thanks for reading.
