Daddy Day Care

This weekend marks a momentous occasion in Miller’s life - his first “guys weekend” without Mom.

You see, Tracy boards a plane bound for Dallas in less than half an hour, where she will spend the weekend visiting her great friend Heath along with several other of her college roommates.  Though it was a little hard to leave “her boys”, Tracy left us well stocked with plenty of food (liquid diet for Miller, real grub for me) and her full confidence that we’ll survive.  I assured her I’d limit Miller to 2 pieces of pizza tonight and only 1 scoop of ice cream…

In all seriousness, I’m looking forward to the time with the little man and I’m hopeful Tracy will be able to soak in every second of alone time to herself (I’ve given her strict orders to grab a People magazine in the airport and to make a mental note of how glorious it is to go through security without an infant). 

Should be a fun few days…for all 3 of us!
