The day after

I’m in a cab right now heading to the airport at 4:45am the day after the big game. I’m tired, but elated. It was a fun evening which included Tywon Lawson absolutely owning the 2nd half, as witnessed by 17 friends at our game watching party. Don’t ask me how we fit 19 people into our apartment. But do ask me how it feels to read this: “We’re not as good as they are right now,” Krzyzewski admitted. “They’re better than we are.” It feels good. Really good.
