I have to admit that in the midst of being busy / life is a blur / travel / visitors / UNC beating Duke / etc, I’ve run into a bit of a “problem”.

I’ve had less to blog about.

Scratch that.  I think it’s more accurate to say this: now that we’re more than 6 months in to our New York adventure, so much of what happens in the city has become normal.

Wow, New York is normal.

It’s fun to think back to some of the old posts from autumn, when every crowded trip to Trader Joe’s was an adventure in and of itself.  Every subway ride had the potential for blogability.  Every walk in the park provided a glimpse into a new world which we were excited to explore.

The last two weekends we’ve hosted both of our parents and have been able to show them around the city we now know quite well.  It was refreshing to see the city through their eyes, and I was able to catch a few scenes from this weekend which help to highlight what we get to be around every day.

As I watch the above video, I’m struck by how lucky we are to live here.  In this case, normal is very good!
