My how time flies…

They say time flies when you’re having fun.  In that case, the last four years must have been an absolute blast, because in thinking back, I feel like I’ve been on a high speed burn.

You see, I’m thinking back four years to March 2, 2005.  On that day, Tracy and I were still a month and half from our wedding day.  A whole slew of future memories were not yet even the stuff of dreams.  But on March 2, 2005, we did live out a dream – that’s the day Jacob Henri Huitsing entered the world, and we officially became Uncle Zack and Aunt Tracy.

As much as I can’t believe all that’s changed in the last four years, perhaps the most unbelievable is just how fast little boys grow up.  It’s no secret that we love our little nephew (and his sister too!), and it blows our mind that the little man is 4!

I know that if we’re feeling this way now, the shock has to be exponentially more for his parents.  And I can’t imagine what it will feel like someday with kids of our own.

What a four years!  Can’t wait to see the changes in the next four!
