The Furni are coming…

After a temporary lull in hosting visitors, we very excited about welcoming our good friends Ben and Ivey Furnas (as well as their 6 month old Jackson) to the Big City this weekend.

As many know, Ben and I grew up together and also lived together for three years in college.  Along the way we developed what in effect is a 2nd language of inside jokes, acronyms and slang.  It’s mere gibberish to an outsider, but great fun for two old pals.

What do I mean exactly?  Below is a shot of us acting out a favorite phrase - “Pit Me” - which is an acronomy for “Peace in the Middle East” - which is our favored phrase for saying goodbye.

Like I said, gibberish.  And great fun.  Can’t wait for a totally incomprehensible weekend.
